Hello, and welcome. My name is Dr. Teresa Serrano, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) providing counseling services in both English and Spanish. I have over ten years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Doctorate in Social Work from California Baptist University. I am currently continuing my professional development to further expand the services and support I provide to my clients.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents and adults. I provide trauma-informed therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and culturally responsive. I am committed to creating a safe space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.
I studied Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in graduate school, and after that took a deep dive into mindfulness, solution-oriented therapy, and belief repatterining work. I work with individual adults who are interested in a collaborative psychotherapy experience, and who are deeply committed to positively changing themselves and their lives.
I work with anyone navigating adjustment/mood challenges, stress, trauma, grief, and co-occurring disorders. Using an integrative approach, I help clients make sustainable progress toward their goals and overall wellness.
