Welcome!
As a licensed psychotherapist, I believe that prioritizing mental health is essential for a happy, stable life. Reaching out for help isn’t easy, so you should be proud of yourself for taking that step. I've been in the mental health field for 15 years and my goal is help you achieve your goals.
Bill Truby started his private practice in Napa Valley in the early 80’s. His quick, solution- oriented therapy rapidly filled up and spilled over into a waiting list he maintained throughout his time in the Napa Valley.
Some of Bill's insights are the core of his life-changing book, “No Two People See the Same Rainbow,” co-authored with his wife and business partner, Joann.
I bring an action-oriented approach to therapy that appeals to clients who are eager and ready for meaningful change. I specialize in anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, addiction, depression, and anger. You can schedule a consultation through Headway or by emailing me directly at [email protected]
A decision to begin therapy is not always easy, but it can be a decision that is life changing. Benefits of psychotherapy include greater self-awareness, decreased emotional distress, better problem solving skills, and healthier more fulfilling relationships. I ensure a safe space, and will build a trusting relationship that is open and nonjudgmental to work collaboratively with you on achieving your personal goals.
Whether you are returning to therapy, or beginning for the first time, sometimes taking the initial step to reach out can feel daunting. Feel free to email me with any questions or inquiries.
I also offer video/remote teletherapy sessions for those who need more flexible scheduling.

I've been a teacher, adult literacy director, a case manager and now a therapist. I have two Masters one in Education and the other in Social Work. When I learned cognitive behavioral therapy, CBT, I knew that would be my specialty. I include practice work for clients to learn and use the CBT skills consistently.
