Hello, this is Alejandra Vachon LMFT. I graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles, CA. I love my profession, working with families and individuals that seek mental health treatment. I have great respect for the families and individuals that are looking to be more clear of their thinking and feelings. As a trained clinician I validate feelings and the different life styles of my clients.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, with 10+ years of experience within the mental health services industry. My clinical experience has focused primarily on helping individuals in the adolescent, young adult age, and middle-aged adults. I have a strong trauma-informed approach when working with my clients. As a therapist, it is my goal to help validate, create a safe environment, and help understand aspects of lived experiences. My extensive clinical training includes working with children, teenagers, and adults, with an array of mental health challenges.

I have been a licensed therapist for 19 years. I believe the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. The therapeutic relationship is formed in a collaboration between myself and my clients in an environment of mutual acceptance and respect. In addition to my education, training and experience as a therapist I rely on my innate skills as an active listener, my good memory and genuine caring to guide me in my approach to therapy.

My style is warm, authentic, and practical, I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to identify patterns, build on strengths, and create sustainable change.
I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based practices. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, whether that means addressing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or navigating major life transitions.
