Hello, I’m Kenneth Han, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with years of experience working with children, adults, and families. I’ve dedicated much of my career to supporting individuals from marginalized communities and helping people navigate trauma, life transitions, and systemic challenges. My specialties include trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. I aim to honor each client’s unique story while offering a compassionate, grounded space for healing
“I know that life’s most difficult moments can shake your confidence and leave you
feeling unsure of your next step. With the right support, those same moments can
also become powerful opportunities for resilience, insight, and meaningful change".
This belief guides my work as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
With 17 years of experience, I provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and
couples from diverse cultural backgrounds, offering sessions in English, Portuguese,
and Spanish. I am committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental
therapeutic environment where clients feel supported in gaining insight, building
confidence, and developing a more authentic sense of self.
Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with nearly 20 years of experience supporting individuals across all stages of life—from young children to older adults.
I specialize in treating a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and trauma-related issues. I also work with clients dealing with ADHD, panic disorder, hoarding disorder, body-focused repetitive behaviors, such as hair pulling and skin picking, and life transitions.
As a bilingual therapist (English/Japanese), I also bring deep cultural awareness to my work. I understand the complex dynamics that come with cross-cultural identity, immigration, and intergenerational communication, and I strive to create a healing space that honors your background and experiences.
Born and raised in New York, I understand the pressure of moving fast, thinking fast, and feeling like you always have to keep it together. I’m an Asian American woman of Indian descent and the daughter of immigrants, and much of my work is informed by personally navigating the space between cultures, expectations, and identity.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade in corporate media leading marketing teams for Fortune 500 companies. I’m especially attuned to the ways perfectionism, people-pleasing, and chronic overfunctioning can quietly drive anxiety, burnout, and self-criticism — patterns many of us know well.
My path to this work was not linear. After over 20 years in a long-term interracial relationship and a meaningful career pivot at age 40, I bring both clinical training and lived experience into the therapy room. Today, as a parent of two school-age children (and two fur babies), I understand what I value most in life. More info about me on www.pranapsychotherapy.com
I provide empathic, compassionate care in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. My goal is to offer therapy you can trust—an environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, challenges, and goals while receiving understanding and supportive guidance.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in relationships, individual needs, trauma, and mood disorders, including anxiety and depression. I am further passionate about maternal and reproductive mental health and helping women and families navigate transitions through this period.
I'm invested in helping you find value and joy in your life!
For over the past decade in this field, I have assisted clients at all stages of life. I prefer to show up with humility, humor, and genuine humanity.
