I consider all aspects of a person’s whole being and life to incorporate somatic-based therapies and interventions. In the therapeutic process, I aim to help clients deepen their understanding of themselves through an inner journey that we take together. I love supporting individuals and groups through change, loss, transition, and transformation. Bringing consciousness to the unconscious for ones healing journey.

Do you struggle with feeling like you belong? Are you carrying hurts and wounds from your family of origin or other close relationships? Do you wonder about your purpose and the meaning of your life? Or maybe you have worked hard on yourself throughout your life, but still struggle to connect with others or lead a life that has intention and meaning. I would be happy to meet with you and hear more about your situation and what you believe is blocking you. Together we can explore what holds you back and create a plan to engage your life in a way that feels more purpose driven and connected to your unique soul.
Born and raised in New York, I understand the pressure of moving fast, thinking fast, and feeling like you always have to keep it together. I’m an Asian American woman of Indian descent and the daughter of immigrants, and much of my work is informed by personally navigating the space between cultures, expectations, and identity.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade in corporate media leading marketing teams for Fortune 500 companies. I’m especially attuned to the ways perfectionism, people-pleasing, and chronic overfunctioning can quietly drive anxiety, burnout, and self-criticism — patterns many of us know well.
My path to this work was not linear. After over 20 years in a long-term interracial relationship and a meaningful career pivot at age 40, I bring both clinical training and lived experience into the therapy room. Today, as a parent of two school-age children (and two fur babies), I understand what I value most in life. More info about me on www.pranapsychotherapy.com
