My background includes more than a decade working in university counseling centers, where I supported undergraduate and graduate students. Now in private practice in Denver, I bring that same depth of experience to a wider range of adults.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I offer approaches that incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, EMDR, and psychedelic-assisted therapy (including ketamine). Hello! My name is Megan Hilton, and I am an LPC mental health counselor. I obtained my Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University in March of 2023, where I began seeing clients and gaining experience. I specialized in child and adolescent therapy while in school and have continued working with youths between 5 - 18 years old. I attended therapy myself as a child and adolescent and feel my personal experience has allowed me to better understand my younger clients. I have also gained experience working with adults through individual, couples, and family counseling.
