I believe that given the safety, support, and tools, we all have an innate capacity to heal and live full lives. I work with clients healing from experiences of trauma, abuse, and loss, as well as those managing burnout, anxiety, and depression. I specialize in treating trauma-related disorders, including those developed following sexual and intimate partner violence, childhood abuse, and traumatic loss.

As a licensed Marriage and Family therapist who specialized early in working with under supported and marginalized groups. I don't think about relational therapy as something limited to the nuclear family model, rather as a way to see ourselves as parts of bigger systems. I am an ADHD Clinical Services provider who also has ADHD, so I know just what it is like to think outside and be outside the box. I studied literature in my undergrad and this helps me to help people understand and write their own life stories.
My name is Emily Scott and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working in the Denver Area. I have my Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Vermont, and my Masters in Social Work from New York University.
A client should know that I have been a therapist for a long time and feel confident in my ability to shift and adjust my approach to make you feel comfortable and seen. My primary role is to walk alongside you in your journey to healing and self-discovery.
My passion has always been to empower others to live their fullest, most authentic lives. I believe that each of us holds the strength, wisdom, and resilience we need within—we simply need the space, support, and encouragement to uncover it. I’m driven by a deep desire to help others overcome self-doubt, reconnect with their inner voice, and build a life aligned with their values, passions, and purpose.
