I want to warmly welcome you to the beginning of your healing journey and sincerely congratulate you on taking this courageous step toward prioritizing yourself.
My name is Cassandra Otoo-Robinson, and I’m truly honored to walk alongside you. I am committed to providing you with the highest quality of care, compassion, and respect as we navigate this path together.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to figure things out alone. I’m Tamara Whittleton, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating stress, anxiety, depression, and major life changes. I focus on creating a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable talking openly while developing practical strategies for growth and healing
I believe quality mental health care starts with feeling heard and respected. I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach and work to understand the whole person, not just symptoms. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space while offering thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to each individual’s needs.
I earned my master's degree in social work with a focus on community mental health in 2013.
As a Clinician I have worked with adolescents and young adults to navigate major life transitions, cope with grief, address the effects of previous traumas, and manage symptoms of anxiety and depression. Many of the clients I have worked with also experience various kinds of physical, learning and cognitive disabilities.
Andrea has 15 years of counseling experience. The majority of her clinical experience has been with children who have emotional and behavior issues. Andrea also has experience working with adults, who are dealing with relationship issues.
I have over 26 years of experience in social work, and I truly love helping people grow into healthier, stronger versions of themselves. I completed my Master of Social Work in 2015 at Southern Illinois University. While finishing grad school, I completed a Trauma Fellowship and practicum program that shaped my clinical focus and led to advanced training as a Trauma Focused Therapist. I’m passionate about helping others heal, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
I am a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with 35 years of experience. I am a caring and dedicated therapist who often goes the extra mile when it will assist a client. I highly value creative and artistic expression, and I help my clients tap into their strengths and passions. I am able to do this, in part, based on my rich background in humanities and the arts (literature and theatre, expository and creative writing, acting and directing, and music: creative fields in which I've directly participated and/or taught at the undergraduate and graduate level). Clients I work with especially well are curious, introspective, willing to dig deep, and interested in becoming more compassionate towards themselves and others. They aren't afraid to look at their feelings in the here-and-now of the therapeutic relationship.
Having worked in highly diverse settings and at multiple levels of care, (often with highly undeprivileged and stigmatized client, such as adolescent and sex offenders, inner-city alcoholics and substance abusers, and severely mentally-ill patients in psychiatric civil commitment ) I am able to help with a wide range of concerns, but some areas in which I am particularly skilled are major depression, bipolar disorder, adult ADHD, addictions, impulsive, compulsive, or excessively inhibited behavior, relationship issues, life crises, and the search for personal meaning.
