I am a provider dedicated to empowering clients I work with through knowledge and information. I enjoy working with clients, discussing options and participating in shared decision making. This is your health, and I want to support people in making their own informed decisions.
I welcome all marginalized and disenfranchised individuals to my practice. I work closely with LGBTQIA+ communities especially transgender communities. As a white provider I do diligent work in dismantling racism in healthcare settings.
I'm a therapist, yoga teacher, mindfulness teacher, and somatic bodyworker. I help people restore a mind-body connection to increase resilience, health, and wellbeing. I graduated from Smith College School for Social Work in 2016. I am also a Trauma Release Exercise Provider.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor who truly cares about creating a safe, supportive space where people feel comfortable being themselves. I work with individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, parent/child concerns, and many of life’s difficult transitions.
I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Opening up about painful or uncomfortable parts of your life takes courage, and you don’t have to do it alone. I’ve dedicated myself to learning the skills needed to walk alongside people during these moments, at a pace that feels right for them. For me, this work is more than a career — it’s a calling.
Many of the adults I work with grew up feeling unseen—whether because of childhood trauma, emotionally unavailable parents, or painful relationship patterns. Those early experiences can stay with us, shaping the way we see ourselves and connect with others. Over time, it can feel like you’re stuck in the same cycles, questioning your worth, or struggling to build the relationships you want.
Becoming a therapist felt like a natural calling: a way to combine compassion with practical tools to help people heal, grow, and find balance. Over the years, I’ve seen how therapy can transform lives—restoring hope, strengthening relationships, and helping clients rewrite the stories they tell themselves. That transformation is what inspires me every day to do this work with warmth, empathy, and genuine care. I absolutely love what I do and I feel very blessed to do this work everyday.
I am a very committed and passionate person. I prefer to meet my clients where they are at. i want my clients to be able to trust that I will uphold Integrity, Professionalism, Empathy, and Honesty in our Therapeutic Interactions and dealings with the utmost respect for their Privacy and general well-being.
I went to Stony Brook University for my Masters in Social Work and my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. I have done two post graduate certification programs. One in substance use and another in trauma informed care.
I believe that it is important for every client to understand their story deeper and what their values, beliefs, and core language is like and how impacts there well-being. I believe in the mind-body connection.
