Are you ready to dive within and unravel the complex knots you've tied yourself in? Change and growth are elusive processes and more often than not, seem steps away from us despite our best efforts. Navigating through the avenues of life can be challenging and at times, discouraging, therefore we need someone in our corner to helps us on the journey towards change, growth and self-discovery.
My approach though electric, I primary utilize a Client-Centered Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I assess symptoms that cause emotional and physical discomfort and assists clients in clearly understanding their thought patterns, feelings and behaviors while collaboratively find solutions.
I am interested in the person as a whole and consider the mind, body and spirit connection to increase awareness, insight, and understanding of patient's view of self and the world. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental and warm environment to promote open expression and self-discovery.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who graduated from Rutgers University with a Masters in Social Work. Throughout my 12+ year career I have worked with a variety of people and have really found my skill set to be working with people dealing with OCD, depression, and anxiety. I like to incorporate elements of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness into my work.
I bring both professional expertise and genuine empathy to my work. Having navigated my own experiences with immigration, career changes and motherhood, I understand how destabilizing major life transitions can be. Those experiences shape how I show up for patients. I believe people do best when they feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My approach is integrative and individualized, grounded in evidence based care while also guided by curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story and capacity for growth.
My focus is on psychiatric medication management, including diagnosis, medication evaluation, and ongoing management for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and related concerns. I do not provide weekly or primary psychotherapy, and may not be the best fit if you are seeking therapy-only services. If you are looking for ongoing talk therapy, I encourage you to select a licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) whose profile and approach best meet your needs.
Notice for New Jersey Clients: Due to current New Jersey law, controlled substances cannot be prescribed without an in-person assessment. Because my practice is exclusively online, I am unable to prescribe controlled substances. If your treatment may require these medications, you will need to see a provider in person.
I am, however, happy to help you explore non-controlled medication options and other supportive strategies.
Please note: I do not offer medical marijuana evaluations or cards.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing virtual therapy for both adults and children. I specialize in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, and I offer a warm, empathetic, and client-centered space where you can feel understood and supported.
