I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Transformative Journey Counseling, LLC. I hold a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Saint Joseph’s University. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University.
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, and adjustment-related challenges. My work focuses on empowering clients to gain insight, build resilience, and find healthy ways to cope and grow through life’s transitions.
Seeking out support is a vulnerable yet necessary first step in change. I aim to empower clients to see that they are worthy. In my practice I work to build trusting relationships, to unpack false beliefs, enhance self-care, and reprocess past traumas. Working with clients I will take their lead on the goals that they intend to achieve, and the changes they want to make. I believe when individuals choose to enhance their well-being, a ripple effect of empowerment is felt by those around them.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals find stability, purpose, and confidence in their lives. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges such as ADHD, anger management, and substance use disorders.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the Director of a nonprofit organization that provides housing and support for adults in recovery from mental health and substance use issues. This experience has deepened my understanding of how complex life circumstances, environment, and support systems impact lasting change.
I also sit on the Board of the Garden State Association of Recovery Residences (GSARR), where I advocate for ethical standards and quality care across recovery housing programs.
As a therapist, I take a direct, supportive, and solution-focused approach, aiming to meet clients where they are and empower them to build practical tools for growth and self-understanding. My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and equipped to make meaningful progress toward their goals.
I have a passion for creating healing spaces that are affirming, empowering, and real. As a Queer Person of Color, I know firsthand how identity can shape the way we move through the world and how important it is to be seen and supported in our full complexity.
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients, QTBIPOC communities, and those navigating anxiety, identity exploration, trauma, and life transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to adults in New Jersey. My work is grounded in patience, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s story. I believe therapy is most meaningful when people are given the space to speak openly and to feel genuinely heard.
