A relationship built on trust and empathy is key to healing. I believe in providing a person-centered and non-judgmental therapeutic atmosphere that starts with building rapport. Many parts of our identity contribute to our perceptions and we’ll work together to identify those so you can have a personalized treatment. I believe in a culturally sensitive approach to both assessment and treatment are important.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered. I believe therapy is a collaborative process—we’ll work together to better understand your challenges, uncover patterns, and build on your strengths so you can move toward lasting change. I specialize in psychodynamic therapy with individuals, helping clients explore how their past and present experiences shape their thoughts, feelings, and relationships. I aim to provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where we can work side by side toward meaningful growth.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming—especially if you’ve been living with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other psychiatric conditions that affect your daily life and relationships. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I am an LCSW, with experience working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, where I have supported individuals during some of the most vulnerable and complex moments of their lives. This background has given me a deep understanding of mental health conditions, crisis stabilization, emotional regulation, and the impact that untreated trauma can have on a person’s life.
I am a LCSW and CASAC in New York State. I bring over 25 years of clinical experience across various therapeutic environments including private practice, community-based mental health and substance use disorder outpatient and inpatient programs, hospital psychiatric emergency programs, and I taught at a local community college. My experience is working with adolescents and adults struggling with many issues that impact mental health and the ability to live life to the fullest.
