At the core of my work is a belief in the healing power of authentic connection. If you’re looking for a space where you can show up as your full self and explore what healing means to you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 20years of experience in outpatient treatment settings. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and my Master of Social Work from Fordham University
I believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, respected, and supported without judgement. Reaching out for help can feel vulnerable, and I honor the courage it takes to begin that process.
I bring a broad range of life and professional experiences to my work as a therapist. Over the years, I have supported individuals and families across medical settings, community mental health, and forensic social work environments. My background includes working with patients living with chronic illness, providing turnaround and crisis services to individuals in emergency room settings and supporting people navigating complex life circumstances within community and legal systems. I have also worked closely with immigrant communities, which has deepened my understanding of cultural identity, transition, and resilience.
In addition, I have extensive experience supporting children and families in educational settings, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. I have also served as a clinical supervisor, supporting the professional growth and development of other social workers.
These experiences have strengthened my belief that when people feel supported and understood, growth and healing are possible. Clients often appreciate my warm, grounded presence and my ability to listen deeply. I strive to create an environment where people feel comfortable exploring their experiences, especially when navigating stress, anxiety, family concerns, caregiving responsibilities or important life transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about walking alongside individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or impacted by past experiences. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported, I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions, and I believe healing looks different for everyone. I value connection, collaboration, and honoring each client's unique story, strengths, and personal values.
A native of County Cork in Ireland, my journey has led me to establish my home here in New York. I'm a licensed mental health counselor and have been practicing for the past 15 years. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I engage in counseling with a perspective to foster healing within oneself in order to develop and reach one's personal potential.
With the use of therapy or medication I can treat you or your child so that impairments can be identified and the ability to function more easily is achieved.
My training allows me to diagnose and give treatment recommendations based on my assessment which consists of an evaluation gathering personal history, psychosocial and environmental stressors, and symptom review. I can help you understand the diagnosis and determine the cause of the difficulty with the use of medication or psychotherapy.
I am a double Board Certified Psychiatrist with Specialty Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I completed my Adult Residency Training and Child and Adolescent Fellowship training at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
I’m a native New Yorker and earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Fordham University. I have over 18 years of experience working with people of all ages, from young children to older adults. I currently support children, families, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is warm, empathetic, and solution-focused, and I believe in working together as a team. I meet clients where they are and help them build practical tools to move toward healing and meaningful change.
I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner providing medication management and/or psychotherapy for adults with anxiety/ panic, depression, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), OCD, anger and irritability, and burnout.
I work with people who want clear, consistent psychiatric care, not rushed visits or vague plans. Many of my patients are men and professionals who want treatment that’s practical, direct, and focused on functioning better in daily life.
Before psychiatry, I spent sixteen years in ICU and trauma surgery. That background defines my style: calm under pressure, straightforward, and focused on what actually works to help you function at your best.
