I believe healing is possible, even after deep or prolonged trauma. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting girls and women who have been impacted by trauma, anxiety, OCD, and/or life transitions. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, cultural humility, and compassion. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, respected, and understood. For those who desire it, I also offer Christian-integrated therapy, thoughtfully incorporating faith and spiritual values in a clinically ethical and client-centered way. My goal is to walk alongside you with clarity, structure, and hope as you move toward meaningful and lasting change.
I have wanted to be a counselor from a young age. I received my undergraduate BA degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and my graduate degree M.Ed clinical/ school counseling from the University of Phoenix. I also spent two years studying at the Denver Seminary to learn how to incorporate faith into counseling. I started out as a middle school counselor and also worked as a therapist in a counseling clinic. My passions are parent coaching, helping with anxiety disorders as well as depressive disorders.
I have over 20 years of counseling experience. I have extensive experience working with college students (undergraduate and graduate/professional), parents of teens/young adults, mid-life transitions, and moving forward after trauma. The evidence-based approaches I provide are aimed at helping clients move from surviving to thriving.
I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and mindfulness training.

Even in the middle of trauma, heartbreak, and uncertainty, still you can find joy. Even Still was born out of my deeply held belief that following the toughest moments of life, a comma lingers. A comma that signals the story is not over and there is light to be found in the darkness. It is my responsibility and deepest pleasure to be your guide in self-discovery and healing. I believe that by being genuine and providing unconditional acceptance, I can create space for vulnerability and growth.
Are you feeling lost, lonely, overwhelmed, or just not yourself lately?
My approach to counseling is that of a “fellow traveler” who takes the journey alongside you in a way that is calm, open, supportive, empathic, and actively engaged.
