I take a slow, mindful, and relational approach to the therapeutic process. We live in a world where things move quite quickly, in such a way where slowing down can feel scary. But it can also be a great act of resistance. In the therapy room, you will have ample time to explore while I offer presence and guidance along the way. If you and I were to be on a road trip, you are behind the wheel while I help to navigate from the passenger seat
I am licensed in Texas, and currently work in a high school setting as my full time job. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, LGBT-related issues, & depression. I am now trained in EMDR which is a great modality to help clients with trauma and PTSD live a happy and healthy life. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and co-founder of The Pineheart Center, with nearly 20 years of experience supporting adults through trauma, attachment-related concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My professional background spans nonprofit, clinical, and healthcare settings, which informs a grounded, compassionate, and relational approach to therapy.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and am also a Licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator. In addition to traditional clinical training, I am a Certified Narrative Enneagram Practitioner, and I thoughtfully integrate this framework when helpful to support self-understanding, emotional awareness, and relational insight.
I primarily work with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, identity exploration, relationship dynamics, and stress related to caregiving or high-responsibility roles. I value creating a space where clients feel seen as whole people—honoring both their struggles and their strengths.
