I graduated from the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at the University at Albany in 2020. I completed my internship at Veterans Affairs (VA) Boston HealthCare System, where I received specialized training in substance use treatment, trauma-focused therapies, and psychological treatments for health issues such as insomnia, chronic pain, smoking cessation, and weight loss. Following my internship, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center, where I continued to focus on specialized treatment for PTSD and substance use disorders, as well as psychological assessment. Since finishing my training, I have worked in a primary care clinic, providing mental health treatment to veterans for a wide range of presenting concerns.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively engaged in research. My published papers have focused on substance use (specifically marijuana, alcohol, and nicotine) and associated diagnosis such as PTSD. My current projects aim to understand the perceptions and knowledge of both patients and mental health providers on psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) and the role of artificial intelligence in the mental health field.
My practice encompasses a comprehensive range of therapeutic modalities, including talk therapy, medication management, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Each of these approaches is tailored to address your unique needs and facilitate meaningful progress in your mental well-being.
