Together, we work towards understanding the impact of abuse, rebuilding self-esteem, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. My goal is to guide clients on a journey of self-discovery through psychoeducation, rebuilding mental frameworks, and developing techniques to mange and heal from the toxic behaviors and abuse of narcissistic and antagonistic people.
I’m Marcey Heschel, a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years of experience, holding a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Texas. My journey began in Canada, and I’ve had the privilege of working internationally in Malaysia, which has deepened my expertise in multicultural counseling. I specialize in treating anxiety, particularly for empaths and highly sensitive individuals. My background includes work in family systems therapy and crisis counseling for adolescents.

My passion is helping women to regain a feeling of control and authorship in their lives. I specialize in helping women with postpartum depression/anxiety, self-esteem issues and stress from life transitions. I received my Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Ohio State in 2008. I'm a licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Fordham University graduate with experience supporting clients in juvenile detention centers and mental health facilities. I help adults and young adults manage anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and life transitions with compassion and authenticity. My approach blends CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to create a safe, supportive space for healing and growth.
