I’m Tiffany Settles, a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida, and I’m grateful you’re here. My journey in this field began in 2005 after earning my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I started my career as a behavioral tech in an adolescent residential program, supporting teens facing moderate to severe mental health and behavioral challenges. That experience shaped my understanding of how deeply people desire to be seen, heard, and guided with genuine care. It also inspired me to move toward one-on-one work, complete my master’s in clinical psychology, and build a therapeutic practice rooted in connection and compassion.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults. My clinical background includes work with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, foster care youth, and individual navigating high-stress life transitions.
As a bilingual therapist (English and Haitian Creole), I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and families within multicultural communities where mental health may be misunderstood or stigmatized. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.
My interest in mental health began during my military service as a Survival Instructor in the United States Airforce. During this time, I had the privilege of teaching students from all walks of life the skills to survive in any environment. I became fascinated with human behavior, stress management/responses and the profound capabilities of the mind, body and spirit when faced with adversity. While navigating through the wilderness, a waypoint is defined as "a stop along ones journey." It is a safe place where the traveler can take shelter, rest, gain insight on where they've been, accept and honor where they are, and determine their way forward. It's a place for healing. This is what I strive to provide for my clients. I completed my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Northwestern University. I have experience counseling couples, teens, adult individuals, and groups. As an Airforce veteran, I have a passion for serving military members and their families. Other interests include working with blended families, and LGBTQ+ individuals and their parents
I am a licensed mental health counselor and Florida native. While I work with individuals of all ages, my primary work is with children and adolescents. I have training in behavior modification, family therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and developmental psychology. I work with individuals as young as 4 years old through adulthood. I strive to provide the most meaningful the most meaningful and effective clinical interventions to address client needs.
Individual treatment takes many forms–including non-directive play experiences, structured psychoeducational experiences, creative experiences using the arts, direct problem-solving and dialogue. However, regardless of the method of intervention, I aim to create both a trusting relationship and a comfortable environment so that healing can begin.
It can be incredibly difficult to reach out for help and be vulnerable with a stranger. I hope to be able to take this journey with you and/or your loved one. At this time, I am offering telehealth (virtual appointments) with flexible scheduling. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule your free 20 minute consultation.
I’m a dedicated mental health professional working as a therapist. I provide compassionate support to adults navigating substance use concerns, co-occurring challenges, and life-stress reactions. In my practice, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore what brings you into treatment and work toward meaningful personal goals
