I am an LCSW in North Carolina who specializes in depression, ADHD/ADD, anxiety, grief and loss, child and family relationship dynamics, and adjustment disorders.
I welcome the opportunity to interact with those who are seeking support as they struggle with various mental health concerns affecting how they live each day. I have been providing this support for 22 years as a licensed provider working with a variety of concerns using an eclectic approach to such concerns as depression, anxiety, serious mental health issues, family concerns and traumas.
I have a passion for helping those in need find their inner strength and resilience. We all have it within us to find solutions to our problems; sometimes we just need some guidance. I offer an integrative, client-centered approach to counseling. I place considerable value in building a strong therapeutic relationship. Just one small step is all it takes to begin the process of change. Whatever is going on, let's explore together!!!
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 10+ years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient services. I am seasoned in working with depression, anxiety, attachment and relationships, self-esteem and identity building and trauma.
In our work together, we can look at shifting cycles of perfection, hyper-performance, and survival-based rigidity in favor of more grounded states where we follow our intuition and inner healing wisdom. I specialize in finding the crux of the pain and offer gentle compassion and permission-based techniques to sooth the roots of grief/pain so that you can be heard, your system can feel into connection, and your being is able to receive compassionate care.
