Hi, I’m Sasheen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a unique background in both mental health and nursing. Since 2022, I’ve worked with individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and complex stressors. I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and tailored to you — not one-size-fits-all.
I earned my Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Substance Misuse from University of Texas at Arlington, and I’ve also been a Licensed Vocational Nurse since 2012. With over a decade of healthcare experience, I bring a holistic perspective to therapy — understanding both the emotional and physical aspects of well-being.
Life's journey is filled with ups and downs, moments of struggle, and times of success. Our thoughts hold immense power, influencing our emotions and choices every day. Mental health is as vital as physical health, and both are interconnected. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, life adjustments, or simply seeking a self-care outlet, I'm here to offer support and guidance. As a full-time therapist, I provide psychotherapy services via telehealth with current openings.
As humans traverse through life, one should never feel that they are walking in solitude. The experience of relational conversations that affirm, support, and empower should be common. Yet, that is not always the case which is why I do what I do; I counsel, I encourage, I motivate with joy!
I love what I do.
